A Friday ritual. A single photo, no words, capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.
“This Moment” is a ritual found on SouleMama which was introduced to me by Sarah-Jane, of Samuel Michaels Photography. If you find yourself touched by a moment and would like to participate, post your picture on a Friday and leave your link in the comments section.

Hi, Patty! ~
Yep. It was the biggest, brightest most beautiful rainbow I’ve ever seen! When it suddenly appeared I happened to be sitting right there under it with my camera in my hand! Very FUN & EXCITING!!
Thank you for stopping by! XOXO

It looks like a bubble protecting the buildings inside from the impending doom of Mother Nature. Love it.

Linda, this capture was so beautiful I had to tweet it! Do you have a Twitter account, by the way? I love rainbows! Nana always told me that rainbows were magical and would you believe that while I’m nearing middle age I still believe this is true? hee hee! Thank you so much for partaking in the story post! I am so grateful!

Fabulous, Linda. I saw a rainbow too earlier this week, Linda but it doesn’t compare to yours. A rainbow never ceases to fill me with awe and wonder.

Dear Linda,
How fortunate were you to be sitting in the right place at the right time! What a capture…it’s like an arc of beauty and love protecting everyone/everything in its circle. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a rainbow this magnificent before. The colors really stand out. Thanks for sharing.

What a contrast between the rainbow and the buildings–sort of a God’s beauty vs. Man’s. You were definitely in the right place at the right time.

I love this. No just for the amazing rainbow, but I *love* old urban buildings with stories to tell. I live out in the country, but inner city life has always fascinated me. Interesting buildings, going down winding alleys, odd bits of trash in corners. All of it.
Love your photography, and site.
